Dangerous Drug Dealers in Situbondo Arrested in 2023 Drug Eradication Operation

Situbondo Police Chief, AKBP Dwi Sumrahadi Rakhmanto, S.H., S.I.K., M.H., through the Head of the Narcotics Unit, AKP Ernowo, stated that the uncovering of the circulation of hard drugs was part of the 2023 Anti-Narcotics Operation.

The task force successfully apprehended one suspect along with evidence consisting of 210 pills of "Pil Koplo", cash amounting to Rp. 461,000 and Rp. 20,000, one pack of plastic clips, and one pack of plastic clips containing cigarette paper.

The seized "Pil Koplo" pills consisted of several packages, including one plastic clip containing 60 pills, 20 cigarette paper packets containing 4 pills each, totaling 80 pills, 7 cigarette paper packets containing 4 pills each, totaling 28 pills, 3 cigarette paper packets containing 6 pills each, totaling 18 pills, 2 cigarette paper packets containing 2 pills each, totaling 8 pills, and 2 cigarette paper packets containing 8 pills each, totaling 16 pills.

"We received information from the community regarding the circulation of 'Pil Koplo' in the Besuki area. Subsequently, an investigation was conducted until we successfully apprehended one suspect and seized hundreds of 'Pil Koplo' pills," explained AKP Ernowo on Thursday (August 17, 2023).

On that occasion, Situbondo Police Chief AKBP Dwi Sumrahadi Rakhmanto expressed appreciation to the community for their assistance in providing information regarding drug trafficking.

The police chief also urged the public to stay away from drugs, as his office would take firm action against anyone involved in drug abuse, even if it is only as a user.

"We hope that this synergy can be enhanced in order to suppress the circulation and abuse of drugs. We also urge the public to stay away from drugs as they are very detrimental," he concluded.
