Information from the Yonif 621/Manuntung Task Force revealed that the activity aimed to prepare border flag-raising troops to welcome the 78th Indonesian Independence Day to students of SMP 1 Tau Lumbis.
Lt. Col. Deny Ahdiani Amir, M. Han, Dansatgas Pamtas RI-Malaysia Yonif 621/Manuntung, explained that Paskibra training was not only about learning to line up, but to form cadres who were skilled, intelligent and had a sense of love for the country. The goal is to create the next generation of a nation that is strong in all aspects.
The Lumbis Post of the Indonesian-Malaysian Yonif 621/Manuntung Pamtas Task Force provided UN training so that the flag-raising troops (Paskibra) were ready to perform optimally during the August 17th anniversary ceremony at the border.
"For a Paskibra to have knowledge about the treatment of the red and white flag, therefore, it does not only provide theory, the RI-Malaysia Pamtas Task Force Post Lumbis Yonif 621/Manuntung also provides practice to students who will be selected as Paskibra," said the Dansatgas.
The Dansatgas emphasized that this training activity was attended by students of SMP 1 Tau Lumbis who would be selected to become border flag-raising troops.
"In the future it is hoped that they will be able to take part in the Paskibra selection at the sub-district, regency and provincial levels, even to the point of becoming national-level Heritage Flag Raising Troops (Paskibraka)," concluded the Dansatgas.
With the spirit of preparing young people who are highly committed to their homeland, this flag raising troop training event provides new hope for Indonesia's future.
