This was expressed by the personnel of Polsubsektor Terminal 1 of Polresta Soetta while conducting a sweep of the ATM Center area at the international airport on Friday (August 25, 2023).
Subsector 1 Terminal Police Officer, Ipda Agus Mulyadi, stated that on that occasion, his personnel carried out inspections of all the machines and rooms at the ATM Center.
"The patrol and inspection activities are aimed at preventing crimes in the ATM Center area," said Agus, while explaining that these activities are regularly conducted by their team.
According to Agus, during the occasion, they did not find any notable issues related to public order and security disturbances, especially in the Terminal 1 area of Soetta Airport.
Furthermore, he invited all elements of society to work together in making Soetta Airport a safe, comfortable, and peaceful shared home.
"We also urge airline passengers to immediately report to the nearest police station if they witness or experience any public order and security disturbances, so that prompt action can be taken," he added.
Meanwhile, one of the airline passengers who witnessed the activity expressed appreciation. According to her, this initiative is very beneficial as it creates a sense of security.
"Thank you to the Polresta Soetta Airport," said a woman who identified herself as Ayu Pertiwi, while mentioning that she came from Palembang and was heading to West Jakarta.
